My heart's lightened somewhat by the prospect of taking part in the Poem-a-Thon this Saturday at Ye Old Rose and Crown, 55 Hoe Street, Walthamstow. It's from 2 - 10pm; I'll be reading at 9.20pm. All proceeds to Medecins sans Frontieres, a charity that really does get resources to where they're most needed. Thanks to Paul McGrane of the Poetry Society and all the other participants! Hope to see some of my lovely London poetry friends there.
